This Rib is made specifically for installation in Ford Transit vans with a 200mm Offset and height of 340mm to avoid the higher wheel arch in this vehicle.
Please note that this will also fit in the VW Transporter.
The most popular rock-n-roll bed for campervans due to the high quality and safety ratings, the RIB Altair seat is NCAP certificated with integral 3-point harness seating, fully tested to EU Regulations and TUV approved. A unique selling point for the RIB is that it is available in a variety of dimensions, fitting most Camper Vans and Day Vans.

- Ford Transit Offset is 200mm and height 340mm - however, if these are not in stock, then some customers opt for the T6 version (offset 160mm). The seat can then be placed centrally due to the extra space in a Transit, avoiding the arch to a certain degree.
The RIB seat is mid-mounted in the vehicle, which allows for luggage to be transported safely at the rear of the vehicle, unlike most traditional Rock & Roll beds.
This unique versatile bed has a rear cushion that reclines in multiple positions, which means you can sit up whilst in bed with comfortable back support at any angle.
The RIB seat can be quickly transformed into a bed in seconds by flipping over the front and back cushion allowing for a perfectly flat comfortable bed.
The 120 cm width seat provides seating for 2 passengers with integral 3-point seat belt harnesses to each position along with integrated headrests as standard.
PLEASE NOTE:
- FITTING KIT: There currently isn't a specific fitting kit for the Ford Transit, therefore bed must be plated and bolted to install.
- NEED URGENTLY? If this Rib is out of stock, then some customers have opted to use the T6 112cm version but move over from the wheel arch, as the seat can be placed more centrally due to the extra space in a Transit avoiding the arch to a certain degree.
